OVER THE TAVERN

April 19 & 20 at 7:00 pm

Spring Valley Stagehands’ production of ‘Over the Tavern’, the story of a Polish-Catholic family in Buffalo, New York in 1959 will be holding auditions on Sunday, April 19th and Monday, April 20th at 7:00 pm.  The auditions will be held at the theatre.  Actors are encouraged to attend the Sunday audition as the Monday audition will be considered a call-back and a very limited number of people will be seen promptly at 7:00.  We request that the parents of teen auditioners attend at least the first few minutes of each audition.  Rehearsals will start on April 22nd and the show is schedule to open June 4th and close on June 14th

Imagine. Create. Perform. Have fun with the Stagehands!! Spring Valley Community Theatre has been a vibrant theatrical force in the area for 29 years.

At an initial organizational meeting in December, 1984, the Spring Valley Stagehands were created and have thrived in a renovated movie house on the Main Street of town. Pooling the amazing talents from this community and all the surrounding area, the theatre group has produced hundreds of shows and concerts. Ranging from broad comedy to Broadway, with dashes of drama and pageantry, the Stagehands continue to present knockout productions year after year.

The group is open to any and all community members interested in giving theatre a try. Whether your interest is on-stage or off, there's room for you at the Spring Valley Theatre. Acting, singing, dancing, directing, stage design, construction, graphic arts, public relations, photography, makeup and hair, costuming - there's a spot for everyone.

With monthly member meetings (generally on the first Sunday of each month. 7 pm at the theatre), there's no reason why you can't stop in and find out what's going on now.
