"The Real Inspector Hound"

A fund-raiser performance for the Stagehands, this hilarious comedy is a one-act parody of the old whodunit murder mystery genre (ala Agatha Christie).

Funds are being saved for the Stagehands "Light-It-Up" campaign for new stage lights. Toward that goal, there will be Meet the Cast pre and post-parties, snacks and a cash bar, as well as Basket Raffles.

There are only going to be four performances of this little gem.

August 7, 8, and 9 - Pre-show party / Snacks, Cash Bar, and Basket Raffle starts at 7:00 at the Community Center - show starts at 8:00 pm

August 10 - Pre-show party / Snacks, Cash Bar, and Basket Raffle starts at 2:00 at the Community Center - show starts at 3:00 pm

*Coming in December - "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever".

In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids--probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!

Director: Ann Turner

Welcome to Spring Valley Theater!

Imagine. Create. Perform. Have fun with the Stagehands!! Spring Valley Community Theater has been a vibrant theatrical force in the area for 28 years.

At an initial organizational meeting in December, 1984, the Spring Valley Stagehands were created and have thrived in a renovated movie house on the Main Street of town. Pooling the amazing talents from this community and all the surrounding area, the theater group has produced hundreds of shows and concerts. Ranging from broad comedy to Broadway, with dashes of drama and pageantry, the Stagehands continue to present knockout productions year after year.

The group is open to any and all community members interested in giving theater a try. Whether your interest is on-stage or off, there's room for you at the Spring Valley Theater. Acting, singing, dancing, directing, stage design, construction, graphic arts, public relations, photography, makeup and hair, costuming - there's a spot for everyone.

With monthly member meetings (generally on the first Sunday of each month. 7 pm at the theater), there's no reason why you can't stop in and find out what's going on now.
