ONSTAGE

The 2015 FOLLIEZ

directed by Jae Anderson

An annual celebration of local talent - the Folliez has happened (almost) every single year since the theatre opened 30 years ago.

Are YOU ready to share a song, a skit, some funny jokes, a dance, some juggling or magic tricks? Whatever your talent may be, THIS is the place to share it.

The Folliez is scheduled for September 19th at 7 pm -  during Spring Valley's town celebration, Dam Days. In fact, you could spend the WHOLE DAY at the theatre!! "Hibernation" will be performed at 1 pm and "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" will take the stage at 3:00.

Tickets will be available at the door starting at 12:00 (noon).

$8 for one show / $15 for two shows / and $20 to see all three

IN THE WINGS

Believe it or not, it's time to think about Christmas - and the theatre's annual Community Choir Christmas Concert.

The choir is open to anyone interested in singing with the group. Contact the director, Cindy Kongshaug.

And then there are plans for a lovely little Christmas play, "Candle in the Window", directed by Mary Anderson. Audition announcement will be released soon!

Welcome to Spring Valley Theater!

Imagine. Create. Perform. Have fun with the Stagehands!! Spring Valley Community Theatre has been a vibrant theatrical force in the area for 29 years.

At an initial organizational meeting in December, 1984, the Spring Valley Stagehands were created and have thrived in a renovated movie house on the Main Street of town. Pooling the amazing talents from this community and all the surrounding area, the theatre group has produced hundreds of shows and concerts. Ranging from broad comedy to Broadway, with dashes of drama and pageantry, the Stagehands continue to present knockout productions year after year.

The group is open to any and all community members interested in giving theatre a try. Whether your interest is on-stage or off, there's room for you at the Spring Valley Theatre. Acting, singing, dancing, directing, stage design, construction, graphic arts, public relations, photography, makeup and hair, costuming - there's a spot for everyone.

With monthly member meetings (generally on the first Sunday of each month. 7 pm at the theatre), there's no reason why you can't stop in and find out what's going on now.
